The Whitaker Agencies is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. No prior experience is required. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
As a Benefits Specialist, you will work with local businesses and their employees to educate them on their available supplemental benefits, assist them in selecting coverage that best fits their needs, and provide ongoing service throughout the life of their policies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others, building relationships, and growing within a professional organization.
Responsibilities
- Meet with employees and families to review and explain available supplemental benefit programs.
- Educate clients on their benefit options and help them make informed coverage decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service.
- Conduct benefit enrollment appointments with professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist clients with policy questions, claims support, beneficiary updates, and ongoing service needs.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Follow up with existing clients to ensure their coverage continues to meet their needs.
- Work closely with local businesses to provide a positive enrollment experience for their employees.
- Participate in daily meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
